Grant Petty Receives AMS Award

Grant Petty, AOS professor, is a recipient of the 2024 American Meteorological Society (AMS) Awards and Honors program. Petty received the Special Award for developing high-quality textbooks for teaching and learning in atmospheric radiation and atmospheric thermodynamics, and low-cost publishing of these and textbooks written by other authors. Award presentations will be part of the 104th AMS Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, January 28–February 1, 2024. Congratulations and well deserved, Grant!
